Lily shows you how to make an Alice in Wonderland phone case with polymer clay!
Materials:
Hard plastic phone case
Light purple, white, pink, blue, mint, and gold colored polymer clay
Black, white, gold, and purple acrylic paint
Parchment paper and pencil
Metal key charm
Circle, heart, and rectangle cutters
Rolling pin
Popsicle sticks
Dotting tools
Craft blade and/or knife
Needle tool
Glue (E6000)
Glaze and paint brushes
How to bake polymer clay:
There are different baking temperatures for different brands of polymer clay, and these instructions are usually listed on the package of polymer clay. I used Premo! by Sculpey brand polymer clay, which needs to be baked at 275 °F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. I baked my clay for 15-20 minutes. Please check the package of your polymer clay, and get help from adult!
Glazing:
You can find glaze in the clay section of your local craft store. There is a Sculpey brand of gloss glaze, as well as a Fimo brand of glaze. Duraclear gloss glaze can also be found in the painting section of your local craft store. Glaze is a great finish to make your project shiny. Search online for glazes if you cannot find it in your local craft store.
